    Choose a Quick setup scene, or set gain, guard and tone yourself.

    Tap the mic, or hold it to talk. Your voice comes out of the speaker live.

Finds your Bluetooth speaker

A connected Bluetooth speaker is used automatically. A status row shows its name, or opens Bluetooth settings when none is connected.

Quick setup scenes

Speaker nearby, Clear speech, Far audience or Singing. One tap sets the howl guard, noise gate, tone and gain.

No-howl guard

Three sensitivities: Gentle, Balanced and Aggressive. It notches out the squeal and lowers the gain.

Noise gate

Off, Light or Strong. Mutes the mic between words, so the speaker stays quiet when you do.

Loudness cap

Set a maximum level from 0 to -12 dB to protect small speakers and ears.

Tone presets

Flat, Voice, Bass boost, Bright and Karaoke, plus Clear voice against rumble and hum, and Even out volume.

Tap or push-to-talk

Tap mode or hold-to-talk, input and output level meters, and gain from -6 to +24 dB.

Runs with the screen off

The notification has Stop, Mute/Unmute and Next voice buttons, and there is a Quick Settings tile.

Echo, soundboard, a preset

Echo is free, the soundboard has Applause, Correct ding and Wrong buzzer, and preset slot 1 saves your setup.

Mic source

Choose Standard, Voice, Camcorder or Raw input. Raw is offered only on phones that support it.

Announcements

Type a message or tap a quick phrase, and your phone's own text-to-speech voice reads it aloud. The mic pauses while it speaks. Needs a text-to-speech voice on the phone.

Home-screen widget

One tap on the widget starts the mic, another tap stops it.

Safety. Start with the volume low and raise it slowly. Keep the phone's microphone away from the speaker to avoid howling, and use the loudness cap to protect small speakers and ears. Loud sound close to your ears can damage hearing. Wireless Mic plays out loud what the microphone hears: only use it where people know you are speaking, never to listen in on others. It is not a hearing aid or medical device.
